Women’s Ministry
The Women’s Ministry at Saint James AME Church grants opportunities for community and connection amongst women of all ages. It creates space for fellowship as well as spiritual and biblical dialogue on topics concerning women. The ministry meets quarterly through virtual and in-person gatherings. The Women’s Missionary Society (WMS) has a long history and standing within the connectional AME Church. Saint James has a local chapter that serves the needs of the Danbury community. We have served through basic necessity drives and food pantries. We are always looking to partner and serve as a need arises in the Danbury community.
