Partner With Us

The Bible teaches us that we as a Church have a command to make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

The Bible teaches us that we as a Church have a command to make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. In our current context that means we are to grow as a church in membership. Our membership consists of those who are committed to making an impact in the Danbury community & beyond, who believe in Christ’s teachings and principles as well as those who align with the mission of Saint James AME Church. If that is you, partner with us by becoming a member of our great church. You will have an opportunity to learn what membership means through the new members class. This class is for those individuals who have first committed their lives to Christ and then secondly decided to partner with Saint James in community and ministry. The class is to help guide the new believer/member through the Life of a Christian, What We Believe, Roles in Church Membership and the AME Connectional Church. It is also an opportunity to meet and grow with the congregation through spiritual direction and prayer. Once a member of the church you receive full benefits of the church as you navigate life and this faith walk, which includes pastoral care under the leadership of our Pastor, the Rev. Tamesha Mills, M.Div.
